According to a February 2009 op-ed by Cal Thomas, titled “How About a Stimulus for Life?” the new Obama stimulus bill will allow “a Washington official to monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective.” This is what Mr. Thomas calls a one-way ticket to euthanasia. He also warns us that once this euthanasia door is opened, “there will be no closing it and dying will become a patriotic duty when the patient’s balance sheet shows a deficit.”

Since Terri’s Foundation has been established, we have noticed a health care system whose mode of medical ethics has shifted from a life-preserving “do no harm” approach to a cost/benefit analysis that essentially identifies who is and who is not “worthy” of treatment. What makes matters worse is how this dangerous shift has and will continue to add premature deaths to an already staggering number.

President Obama’s Stimulus Plan . . .
What should really send a chill down every American’s spine is what we see in President Obama’s new “stimulus” bill. Perhaps it is just gross apathy, but most Americans seem completely unaware of what is going on behind the scenes at hospitals and hospices across the country—despite the growing number of warnings signs.
Most people don’t comprehend that we are facing a major crisis. If these early warning signs are ignored, death will follow in waves.
America’s Lifeline Needs Your Help!
That is why last year Terri’s Foundation established the radio program, “America’s Lifeline”. The America's Lifeline program has been aimed to educate Americans about their health care rights as well as protecting themselves and loved ones who may be sick or disabled from the threat of imposed death.
America's Lifeline airs every Saturday on 860 WGUL (a Salem owned station in Tampa, FL) and is streamed world wide via the internet. All the programs are also archived on Terri’s website.
This past year, leading experts on euthanasia and assisted suicide have given our listeners vital information concerning this cavalier attitude towards medical care.
The average American need only pay passing attention to medical news to recognize that there is a direct assault on the equality and moral worth of all human life.
Even more, this is the only program that deals with issues that are not being discussed anywhere on the airwaves!!
In its first year America’s Lifeline has become the No. 1 listener downloaded show during that time period. But we need your help to raise the funds in order to continue to inform all listeners on how to protect themselves from an aggressive and very powerful “right to die” agenda.

Let Me Share a Story With You!
A loyal listener to America’s Lifeline recently became aware of a friend who was desperately trying to help her adult disabled son who wasn’t receiving proper medical care. She believed her son would soon succumb if this abuse continued.
Because of the radio program, the listener told the friend about how Terri’s Foundation helps persons with disabilities and their families.
After receiving a call from the friend, Terri’s Foundation was able to provide proper legal counsel. Discussions began and at the time of this letter, current court intervention is taking place. We’ll keep you posted as to the outcome!
That is why America’s lifeline is so important. It is through this type of available technology that allows Terri’s Alert to aid in linking us to medical professionals, legal professionals, media contacts, and so much more to help those facing the threat of or imminent death by euthanasia.

Gift of $250 provides for either:
• Travel expenses to be present at annual state conferences, in particular the National Right to Life Conference (The key to preserving the lives of those who can’t fight for themselves is awareness, education and advocacy).

Gift of $100 provides for either:
• Hosting of Terri’s website for one month.
• One month of advertising Foundation’s vital services in news journals, internet sites.
